Where Shelvik started and what we stand for.

Shelvik was founded in Singapore in 2020 by a team that had spent the previous decade working inside retail and e-commerce businesses across Southeast Asia. The frustration was a familiar one: retailers had data, but translating that data into coherent decisions about customers, stock, and experience remained stubbornly difficult.

We started with a simple premise — that AI tools built specifically for retail, and explained in terms that buying and marketing teams can actually use, are more valuable than general-purpose platforms applied to a retail context as an afterthought.

Five years on, that premise shapes everything we do. Shelvik remains a focused consultancy rather than a platform business. Each engagement is a direct collaboration between our team and yours, scoped carefully and delivered with the kind of written documentation that outlasts the project itself.

We are based at Raffles City Tower in the heart of Singapore's central business district, and we serve retailers across Singapore, Malaysia, and the wider ASEAN region.
